For Legendary Waters Buffalo Bay Campgrounds and Marina: Beautiful spot on the water. We had water and electric as promised. Well maintained. Picnic table and fire ring. Close to Bayfield. We will stay here again.

For Legendary Waters Buffalo Bay Campgrounds and Marina: Been visiting this area for more than a decade. Beautiful location and conveniently close to downtown Bayfield. Nicest camp in the area and has hotel amenities. PROS: - Breathtaking views overlooking Lake Superior and the Apostle islands (mainly Basswood and Madeline islands). - Short walk to Hotel and Casino. - Casio is nice. - Nice restaurant with tall windows and outdoor deck overlooking the Marina, Lake and islands. Food ranges from good to very good. Restaurant service ranges from okay to very good. Depends on the time of day and number of servers on staff. GREAT breakfast!!! - Short drive to downtown Bayfield, WI. - Quiet. - 50 Amp service. - Access to Hotel amenities (e.g. Indoor pool, hot tub, exercise, etc.) - Kayak rentals and boat tours are available. CONS: - NO FULL HOOKUPS!!! - Camp layout could be vastly improved. Only a few good lake side sites. - Most sites are close/tight. - Gravel road is a bit rough. - Very limited tree coverage - NOT playground or other outdoor amenities for kids - Just the indoor pool. - Must make reservations by phone. No online reservations. Overall, we stay here again. Would have given FIVE STARS if the camp layout and road condition was a bit better. Also, not very appealing for kids. A simple playground set would be a good investment. They have the space.

For Legendary Waters Buffalo Bay Campgrounds and Marina: Here for one week mid May, 2019. Price up to 40.00 and 5$ extra per day to use pool/whirlpool. I have been coming to this campground yearly since the 90's and it has not changed much. Sites are generally close and the dirt gravel roads can be dusty. Great view of lake right across from Basswood island. Good location for Kayakers. I was able to get two bars Verizon which was enough for slow internet access. Casino has wifi, good food, and the showers are well maintained. Interesting area with plenty to do. I think site 12 has the most privacy.

For Legendary Waters Buffalo Bay Campgrounds and Marina: Phone in reservation for full hookup. Confirmed full hookup. Arrived to find there aren't any full hookup sites. Dirt road in the campground. Very few sites even close to level. Otherwise, very nice campground. Hope the casino makes for it.
