Sunderland

For Lazy Acres Campground and Motel: This is a really quaint, quiet, well-maintained campground of 33 sites. Most are well spaced out and there’s grass between them with a larger grass area for tents. The owners are on-site and they and the staff are friendly and helpful. The restroom/showers and laundry facilities are clean and ample but only 2 stalls, 1 shower and 2 of each W/D units. This property and the area are historic snd the local museums are amazing!

For Lazy Acres Campground and Motel: Loved this small clean well-kept campground! We were in site 5 with our 38 foot 5th wheel: full hookups, 50amp and cable. Lots of trees and shade. Campground is on the Encampment River. The owners are outstanding. They are friendly, helpful and hard working. Very popular campground, advanced reservations advised. We could not get in on the weekend so we stayed Sunday to Thursday. Riverside is a very small town so be sure to bring all provisions with you. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.

Bob

For Lazy Acres Campground and Motel: I was skeptical about this campground based on some of the reviews that I read, but once I arrived at the campground I was happily and pleasantly surprised. The campground, although small and tight in some areas, is very clean and well maintained. I was able to navigate my 20 foot truck and 35 foot trailer will minimal effort. I arrived about 5pm and the owner, Leroy, met me as soon as I pulled into the campground. My reservation was ready and he guided me to my campsite. The campsite was very nice, with tall trees and grass right along the river. Cable TV and Internet is included in the reservation fee, and both signals were very strong. The bathhouses, which include showers, were immaculate - better than some of the "chain" campgrounds. The only negative I can write about this campground is they do not have fire pits at the campsites, but if you have your own portable fire pit you can use that. This campground is definitely worth staying at, I will stay there again if in the area. There is no online reservations, but if you e-mail them your request, they are very prompt at responding back to you.

Charlene

For Lazy Acres Campground and Motel: Small quaint campground in a lovely area of Wyo. Open grassy area with some trees and river on one end. Each site has a good picnic table. Portable fire rings available. Clean laundry facility $1.25 per load. Clean large bathrooms with 1 good shower for Cowboys & cowgirls. Pull in & back in sites for all sized rigs. We were in a 25 ft 5th wheel. The sites along the river are the nicest. Highway is very close but not a problem. Dogs must be on a leash but there is space to walk them. Wifi is slow but ok. Verizon signal is 3 bars by the checkin area. Owners are great. We would definitely camp here again!
