For Tiffin Service Campground: Bad news for Tiffin owners. Campground has been reduced in size by half and only 1 year old or less Motorhomes are admitted.

Doug

For Tiffin Service Campground: As other reviewers said, basically a waiting spot for visiting the Tiffin Service center or watching your new coach be built at the factory. They shut off the water to the sites at the first freeze and leave it off all winter from my understanding. It was already off when we arrived November 21,3018. There is a water full spot nearby for watering up. There is 30/50 service and sewer at each site. It was cold, rainy and overcast while we were here so not much activity amongst other owners. Rumor has it that in warmer weather it can be a hopping place, but then again the wait to get service is much longer (weeks sometimes). There are several other independent sites within 500 yards and more in and around town that only shut the water off on freeze nights. Lots of good updates and information available on Facebook group Tiffin Red Bay Rill Call Group. Would stay here again in warmer weather to participate in social activities, but would likely choose one of the independent sites if visiting in winter months. Every site in the area is the same price, $25/night as of 2018.

Andy

For Tiffin Service Campground: The service campground is just that, a place to wait until you can get service so it's more of a parking lot with hook ups. No cable and only four PBS channels for TV. People are great but have patience as they'll get to you eventually. Subway seems to be the best restaurant but we haven't actually explored the area. We enjoy cooking at our site.

Phred Phantom

For Tiffin Service Campground: Basically a gravel parking lot with full hookups. No ambiance and only a few decent local restaurants. If you come here for service you need to have plenty of time (and by "time", I mean DAYS) because they don't make appointments or reservations.

Also, if your motor home is more than 4 years old, you soon get the unspoken message from them that you are somewhat of a second class citizen in their eyes. They won't necessarily outright refuse to do the work but seem to prefer to put you in contact with local people in or near Red Bay that are certainly capable of doing the work but do it "on the side" and/or after hours, often at another site away from Tiffin. I like my 2009 Tiffin Allegro Bus but I am a little disappointed in the level of concern that the Tiffin factory folks seem to have in helping me get my maintenance issues addressed.

Marie

For Tiffin Service Campground: This campground is basically for Tiffin rvs in for service or for those wishing to see the Tiffin plant tours. Very friendly people and good coaches.
