For Joint Base Charleston FamCamp: About as nice as they get. If not for the late night obligatory Taps and the 0700 revelries and 0800 small arms range kick off this place is perfect. Nice level concrete pads, full hook ups, and decent/clean showers it is worth the $22/night. Well run and well kept - we will be back.

For Joint Base Charleston FamCamp: First of all, don’t follow GPS directions. It will take you to the air port terminal. You should have seen the looks we were getting going through there with our motor home towing a car 😂. If you come in off I-26, get off at exit 211-B (Aviation Ave) and follow the signs for the base. At the gate you will have to go through a huge x-ray machine with your RV/camper, and the security force members were all nice. We were greeted with a smile by the camp host and she escorted us to our spot. All of the sites are concrete and level, with about half and half back-in and pull through. Very clean and neat and all roads are smooth and wide. The bath houses are extremely clean and in excellent condition. Beautiful famcamp! Now remember, this is a busy Air Force base / airport. If you don’t like the sound of jets, you may want to go somewhere else. Personally I think the sound of jet engines is the sound of freedom. Also, there is a large military reserve contingent here, so the first weekend of every month will have increased activity to include the sound of gunfire. The military firing range is about a half mile from the camp. We loved it! Hope you will also. Happy camping ⛺️!

For Joint Base Charleston FamCamp: The very best Fam camp I have stayed in! The Host was right there when we showed up, took us to our spot,#18, explained everything and did all the paperwork. The place is excellent , very clean. The showers are out of this world, that is the world of RV camps. We liked it so much extended here for an extra week and the Host was very very helpful. This place is a 5 Star Plus!!!

For Joint Base Charleston FamCamp: FRIENDLY!!!
Stayed on site 14, back-in. Concrete pad, asphalt driving areas, and thick grass everywhere. Host available whenever you arrive, posted sign. I use to work flightline so no problems with aircraft/train noises. Loved the miles of sidewalks from gate to gate, past campground and golf course. Very well lit. Even the sidewalks had antique-y looking lights.

Heard rumor about pets in back area of campground getting bit by copperheads and dying. Didn't receive warning about wildlife in area. Received plenty of information about local areas tourism. ITT office right next door.
