For Chief Looking Glass Montana FWP: Easy to find and navigate. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the campground was almost empty. We got a nice spot by the water. We are 36’ motorhome pulling a Jeep. Lots of space and some trails. Some guy was here for day use fishing.
Great area for dry camping with no dump or hookups. There is a toilet buildings but we didn’t check them out.
Only $18 non resident fee.
Planned for 1 night stay. We’d stay again.

For Chief Looking Glass Montana FWP: Just what we were looking for! Great little place for our family to rest for a few days. We are a 40’ Class A towing a 25’ flatbed and navigated just fine. We didn’t have any trouble with people kicking up dust but we stayed during the week and it’s not crowded at all. I found it pretty clean, even the vault toilets were kept clean.

For Chief Looking Glass Montana FWP: This is a campground/day park on a slow-flowing part of the Bitterroot River. Lots of people drive by at all hours kicking up dust. I wouldn't stay there again.
