The Catlins
For Amishville USA Campground: LARGE family campground nestled in the beautiful Amish countryside! Perfect place for families with children. We were simply traveling through from one location to another. It was nice to see children fishing, swimming (pond designated for swimming only and roped off with a sandy beach), playing on the playground, or walking/talking outdoors. We walked around the campground a couple times and everyone seemed so friendly and courteous. The owners are amazing!! If in the area, we will visit again.

For Amishville USA Campground: This park is in the heart of Amish country many buggies and families in the area. It is primarily for seasonal campers. Crowded and noisy with tons of kids everywhere. Multiple electric cords on each post. Big rigs use caution. Now if you want to go to a place where the kids play outside and have fun bring your family. Lots of weekly activities for families. I don't recommend for people just passing through like we were. Just not my type of campground. DTB
