For Cherokee Strip Campground: There are two sections, one up on a hill and the other lower down below the office. The sites on the hill are concrete pads but VERY close together. The roads and the sites on the lower section are gravel but more spacious. I was told to pick a spot, set up, and then go to the office to settle up. There are no site numbers, most looked fairly flat, mine was. It looks like the park was expanding at one point but work apparently has stopped. I called to make a reservation and was told to just call ahead when I was about 1 hour away. There are three dogs at the owners home which is on site; none were fenced or tied. The park itself is very laid back, there are apparently no rules. Electricity, water, and sewer are fine. Can't comment on the internet because my Wifi couldn't find the network. The laundry room is clean; the appliances look new. There are no showers or rest rooms. If there was cable TV I couldn't find it. There is a 4% fee if you pay with credit card. Some traffic noise.
