For Choteau City Campground: Sept 2021: Considering that camping at this park is only $10 for a clean, level spot I’m giving it 5 stars. There is water if you need to fill up. No one else was parked here, as I guess it is the end of the season. Railroad tracks are maybe 300 feet away but we didn’t hear any trains. Really cute town with flowers at the sidewalks, coffee shops, and library.

For Choteau City Campground: This city park charges only $10/night (in 2019) for camping without hookups, so it is popular with the local residents. The campsites are not marked, aside from an occasional fire pit or picnic table, so you can camp pretty much wherever you want. Sites are level, and the park is nice to walk around; a little creek flows through it, a ballpark is behind it, and there is a small disc golf course. The downside is that it is adjacent to a dirt road behind enormous grain elevators, so it’s a bit dusty and noisy during business hours. We saw two rigs camped in the adjacent parking lot. It probably would have been quieter and less dusty, but we liked camping by the trees and grass in the official campground. For a one-night stay, it was completely acceptable.

For Choteau City Campground: Great place to spend the night. Official number of sites limited; however, plenty of open parking, If there are no city events. Stayed there for a night in July 2017. Bathrooms available, small charge for spending the night.

For Choteau City Campground: Great spot. Clean. Roomy. Includes water and dump station. No electric. Sites are unassigned and in multiple locations. The restrooms are very clean but are attached to a public park so could be questionable.
