For Lazy JD RV Park: This RV Park was a pleasant surprise and ended up being nicer than I thought it was going to be. I would definitely recommend it. The sites are huge pull thrus and can easily handle any size rig and tow. All are full hookups with good 30/50 amp service. Sites are adjacent to each other so you will be close to your neighbor, but facing opposite directions. They are mostly sunny, open sites with a few small trees offering a bit of shade, Downside is that the trees are pine so yo may find a bit of pine tar dripping down. The park is several miles off of the highway but the road is good. Many other parks in the area are right on the interstate and are much more noisy. The location makes it convenient to Rapid City, and is a good jumping off point for Rushmore, Custer State Park, Badlands, etc.

For Lazy JD RV Park: We called for a full hookup site in advance in Aug 2018. We were directed to a former cow pasture with full hookup and evidence of cows. It’s truly a remote place and owner was pleasant, but the quiet was not so with long term campers vehicles. The bathhouse was nice and clean, laundry single dryer & washer were residential honor system. We moved to different campground to get both WiFi and cell services.
