For Harris St RV Park: Super nice little stop over. Small campground attached to the city park. Has electric and water. Park is very clean and well maintained. Price is only $20. Application is through city hall and they’re very helpful. Sites are back in, cement pads and are perfectly level. Electric is 30 and 50 amps. We will DEFINITELY stop here again .

For Harris St RV Park: Small, neat, very clean, safe! Kilgore takes very good care of the property & park. RV park area is a portion of a city park with a well light walking trail, playground, ball fields & tennis/bball courts. The city employee I spoke with (Teresa) was kind and super helpful. Be aware, if you are needing a last minute spot, you will need to fill out an application & email it to them during regular business hours. Electric hookups are in good condition, water pressure is good. RV Pads are concrete and level & picnic table is also set up that way. As a single female traveler, my level of comfort always depends on the safety I feel. This park was very comfortable, including my late night stroll on the walking trail. Great cell signal here too (AT&T)

For Harris St RV Park: Great stop over. Nice clean city park with electric and water and a dump station. Park has several baseball fields where we watched a tournament. Also toured east Texas oil museum and had dinner at char burger grill. Oil museum is highly recommended.

Lionheart Adventures
For Harris St RV Park: A real gem for the area. We have family in this area and stayed over the holidays. Sites are small for big rigs but we made it work. Also, for motorhomes especially, the sites are not level, some are more so than others, we had site #7– had to come up 10+ inches in the front. Quiet and peaceful , we’d return. Cell signals on ATT & Verizon were excellent.

For Harris St RV Park: Concrete level pads, park is kept clean. Water & electric hookups. $15/night. Would give it a 5 except for no FHUs and there is a container business directly behind the park and they begin work at 5 AM. Wake up to the sound of a container being dropped each morning. It was very quiet until 5. There was only one other site filled. We stayed here in a 5th wheel. Would not hesitate to stop here again.

Ghills
For Harris St RV Park: Nice very clean park. We were the one of two rig there on a Wednesday. Allstays showed full hookups, but only has water and electricity. Does have dump station. Quiet, clean. Would definitely stay here again.

For Harris St RV Park: Nice very clean park next to the baseball diamond. We could hear the bats hitting the balls and the announcer. Pretty cool. We were the only rig there on the Thursday before Easter.
Way to go Kilgore! You are leading the way with this place.
