For Big Mountain Campground: As mentioned earlier out of the way. No cell service. Office was closed on Sunday, so we drove to the camp host’s trailer and he allowed us to check in. Not cheap, but very picturesque in the mountains. While doing laundry, we could hear road traffic. No bad in our camp site. Kind of like a white noise machine.

For Big Mountain Campground: If you are looking for a camping spot where you can totally disconnect then this park is for you. Although it is clean and beautiful it advertised internet. There is no internet service, no TV reception and no cell service. We have Verizon and find very few places it doesn’t work.

For Big Mountain Campground: What a lovely place to stay. Family owned for 49 years. Friendly staff and well maintained park with lots of trees and grassy camp sites. Great pool

For Big Mountain Campground: We were looking for a full service campground in the general area to freshen up after a week of of boondocking. We're self contained and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed on a Saturday night in early June in our 25 foot MH.
This CG is very well maintained. Gravel sites are aligned in 4 rows and separated by grass with picnic tables. Some need a little leveling. The most shaded sites were in Row A (water/electric only). There was no ATT or Verizon coverage. The wifi was usable. The showers were clean with good hot water. There is a laundry room at the office. The staff was quite helpful and friendly.
There is a pool, rec room, pavilion with lots of activities for kids. There is fishing nearby.

For Big Mountain Campground: Very nice place, owners take care that everything looks neat and tidy. Cleanest restrooms and showers we had up so far. Friendly owners.

For Big Mountain Campground: Stopped for one night on our way back home but after viewing the campgrounds and facilities, we decided to stay for two nights. Lady in the office was very gracious. Great area for groups with spacious grounds for activities. Will definitely stay here when in the area again.
