For The Lake Stop: This place was interesting. Someone spent a lot of money to build a motel, spa, pool, cabins. But the RV section needs better up keep. It is gravel roads, the electric and water are at the front of the space making it hard to hook up unless you pull into the road. The dump also has brick around it so was not of use. The had a bar, small store and gas. It might have been better to stay on the lake. Internet was not working, or they gave the wrong ID and password. Pretty quiet though. Looked like the motel was well kept. Off the beaten path which was good. I would have given better stars except for the RV layout.

For The Lake Stop: The campground is convenient to the interstate and the price was only $29 a night. There is a pool and shower house are maintained and clean. The campground was quiet and my kids enjoyed the playground. The sites are not laid out very well. The electric box is at the front of the campsite making it hard to back in and plug in with a bigger rig. Also, the sewage hookup has brick all around it making it difficult to hook up. We needed a 50 amp site but the site available was so close to another camper (and faced their camper door) with a dog unleashed so we moved to a 30 amp for more privacy and safety for our pets. If you can overlook the quirks it isn't a bad stopover. The staff were friendly and there is a lake within sight. The lake has camping too. It is the Mikesell Potts Recreation Site.
