For Shady River RV Resort: A group of us moved here for jobs in Round Rock and Hutto area. Is a fair place. Very quiet and river access.

For Shady River RV Resort: Same as slip and slide traveled in 10-14-18 paid for a month flooded out wont refund 540.00 for two nights is mighty steep. Do not waste your time or money.

Slip N Slide
For Shady River RV Resort: Arrived 10/15/18 for a month reservation. Flooded and forced evacuation next morning. Asked for refund but owner said it was an act of God and not his fault. $575.00 down the drain which was unnecessary. No hookups and no refund.

For Shady River RV Resort: I stayed here over 3 months and enjoyed my stay and it was really convenient for visiting family in Georgetown. Huge pecan trees and walks by the river were great benefits. It is in flood plain, though, and while it hasn't happened since 2013, all RVs staying here must be able to be moved in case evacuation is necessary.
New owner was taking over toward end of my stay and he is nice and obviously concerned with making it a desirable destination. The main reason I wouldn't call this a "resort" though, is there is no pool, spa, etc that says resort to me.
The public restroom and laundry room is a run down old trailer and needs upgrading. All that being said, it's been the favorite park I've seen in Georgetown area and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
