Unhappy Camper
For Hounds Gateway Campground: Junkiest and trashiest campground I’ve seen. We ended up leaving and not staying. Tight spaces, people cars everywhere, and old torn up campers everywhere with junk in the spaces. The movie section looks nicer but would not suggest anyone stay at the campsite until it gets cleaned up. Sad to see the potential here going to waste.

Linhardt
For Hounds Gateway Campground: This was the trashiest camp ground in 9 months that we have ever been to. It was all full time folks and the junk around each site was crazy. It was so tight in there that I couldn’t even get my fifthwheel in there. So we had to end up leaving without a refund. The guy in the office was rude, put out and wouldn’t even get up from his desk. If I could post recent pics I would. All we can say is stay away!!!! Drive 20 min further to South Carolina.

Andy
For Hounds Gateway Campground: This is about the nicest campground I have stayed in in quite some time. It's is very big, the grounds are very well kept, and though there are a lot of seasonal campers, there is still lots of space!
As a tenter, I can't comment on the hookups or anything. The showers are fine as is the laundry.
The name however is Raccoon Holler now,
And the wifi is excellent.
The staff is friendly and helpful. I liked it enough to consider staying a couple of more nights.

Malik
For Hounds Gateway Campground: Owner was very friendly. There are some tight turns and train noise to drag it down a bit.
