For Chewalla Lake Recreation Area: Limited number of sites with hookups and only a small number of those can fit big rigs. Bathroom by park host site had filthy showers. I have never seen showers that dirty in a fs Park. Very short stay and probably will not return.

For Chewalla Lake Recreation Area: Pretty lake. Well spaced campsites. Almost empty on a Monday. But the place is not well maintained. There is litter on the ground and the bathrooms are dirty. The showers near the lake are a mess. The ones near the campground host are better although the water is barely warm.

For Chewalla Lake Recreation Area: Maybe it used to be very nice!? No detectable cleaning or maintenance of the once so nice bathrooms and showers. No effort is put into this park, which could have been very nice. Not coming back.

For Chewalla Lake Recreation Area: Very nice out of the way place. Very pretty lake, with clean restrooms. Will definitely stay again.
