For Lake Carl Blackwell Pine Grove: A beautiful lake front campground with lots of space between sites, quiet, nice tables and grills, mowed lawns (not dirt), shade trees. Water and electric with nearby dumpstation for $25/night. Many sites are annual but we drove in same day and got a space in September.

For Lake Carl Blackwell Pine Grove: Nice park but sort of expensive. $25 per night. Easy spots to get into with mostly lakefront. Within this campground there are a lot of primitive camp spots you could boondock at with access to showers ($15). There is a camp office and a gas station on property but are only open until 7:00p. It is first come, first served but if you call them Friday morning and pay ahead with a Cc they'll reserve a spot for you.
