For North Klondike Campground: This campground is no longer free. 20.00 a night to park. Discount for America the Beautiful pass holders but it is NOT free. Rough roads coming in. Class A with Toad fit in several spots and it can be a little dusty. All in all it was perfect for us.

For North Klondike Campground: So much space! We came in late November and there were probably 3 other people here (but very far from us). A convenient location to Moab/Arches and completely free! We took our 29” skoolie with no issues, just drive slow on the unpaved roads.

For North Klondike Campground: Nice area, we spent two nights here while visiting Arches NP. Easy in and out. We had our small 24ft class C MH, there are several sites, all spread out. It’s quite and good Verizon LTE coverage.

For North Klondike Campground: Plenty of large spaces with fire rings to choose from. Easy to fit large vans or RV’s and turn around if needed. Pretty windy, but it could just be this time of year. (10/29) You will need to keep your vehicles buttoned up if the wind shows or you’ll be wiping down your entire interior. Close to the highway and easy access.

For North Klondike Campground: We spent 10 days here in our 40 ft MH+tow. We checked out the other areas and this was by far the best choice for us. The road is more rocky than Willow Springs, but that also means less dust. We drove through Willow Springs a few times using the back entrance to Arches NP and couldn't believe how much more crowded and dusty it was than Klondike each time. The Klondike road leads to a bike trailhead so we did see a good bit of traffic for that, but most went slow and they're much better than 4x4s buzzing around all day. The roads were dry when we arrived but you can see from the ruts it must get pretty sloppy when it rains. We stayed at one of the first pullouts and the road was fine (going slow) for our rig.

Annah

For North Klondike Campground: A good find. We checked out 2 other BLM options, one was closed the other was quite crowded and spots were very close together. Klondike Bluffs was much more spread out. There was still about 5-10 other people camped out but the area is so large you don’t see, hear, or interact with anyone. No issues on the road with our 38 ft fifth wheel. Dinosaur track exhibit at the end of the road was pretty cool.

For North Klondike Campground: Just spent 12 glorious days. Very glad we ventured in. Lots of wide open space, gorgeous views, and blissfully quiet. Don't let the road worry you...unless it's rainy or snowy. We drove our 32' in with no problems. We just took our time. Got some snow and rain the last day and the drive out was a bit dicey. The clay gets really slick. Some fun 4X4 drives close by. Maverick on south side of Moab has free dump and potable water. THANKS MAVERICK!!! We will definitely return.
