For Westlake RV Resort: If you're passing through or want to spend some time in Houston, this park serves the purpose. It's easy to access and secured by a gate entry. The park, sites, and amenities are very clean throughout. The pool is attractive, and there's even a dog washing station. The sites are very small and closely spaced, with little to no shade. Even though it's in the city, the sites are set back from the main road, so it's relatively quiet. The surrounding neighborhood is fine with access to several restaurants. Not somewhere we'd want to stay for an extended time, but it is convenient for being in the Houston area.

For Westlake RV Resort: Great clean park. Huge. Nice size sites. Great area to walk dogs.

For Westlake RV Resort: It's a nice enough park, but our problem was that they put us right across from 4 LARGE dumpsters. All day long and late into the evening people are stopping to dump their trash. Then at 4:30 am Monday mornings you get woke to the very loud crashing sounds of the truck dumping four large dumpsters feet away from your RV. Then for most of the rest of the day you get to take in the smell of putrid garbage, as well as walk through the slime leaked out of the dumpsters. Since we reserved the site for a month, after about 10 days of this I asked if we could locate to another site. The woman and man in the office were very friendly and told me we could the next day when the site would be open. Unfortunately the next day we had a hard freeze with 1/8" of ice over everything and couldn't bring our slide-outs in. On the next day I went to the office to make sure the new site was still available. This time the park manager (lady) was there and she told me absolutely not! I explained that the other people told me we could and she said, well they shouldn't have told us that. Because of her very unfriendly nature, I commented; well if that's the case we won't be staying here again. Her reply: That's fine...

If you decided to stay here make sure you're not assigned a site (172-178) across from the dumpsters! Whoever laid this park out should not have put sites immediately across from them.

For Westlake RV Resort: Excellent RV Resort! Plenty of space between sites, level concrete pads. Good security and as it's near a residential area, it is actually very peaceful at night. They offer great amenities; heated pool, jacuzzi, grills, fishing pond and a awesome clubhouse! We will be staying at this park every time we are in Houston. Kudos to the management staff for taking such great care of the resort.

For Westlake RV Resort: This is one of the best RV parks ever! Well designed, plenty of space at the sites, no tree obstructions for maneuvering or for satellite reception, concrete level sites that are immaculately maintained, heated pool, nice showers, exercise machines, 8-ball pool table, computer room. Even the back-in parking isn't difficult.
It ain't cheap but the first night can be $26 if you have a Passport America membership.
The only problem might be in getting reservations - it's a popular place.
