Janet

For BLM Crossroads Campground: Absolutely lovely campground. Host (Mike) checked in with us after we’d paid our dues. No frills, but jumping in the water after being in the desert for 4 days was excellent!! Quite a few open spots here when we arrived around 5P on a hot mid-October weekday. Lots of boats on the water in the afternoon, but a quiet night with some resident owls and a few burro visitors.

For BLM Crossroads Campground: Very. Nice campground, most sites right on the river, a few back about 75 yds. Great views of the mountains and river, a small beach to swim or float from. Reservations are a must here even during the week. Wild burros make a habit of wandering through periodically, they are friendly and fun to watch, though the dog was not pleased. A very laid back comfortable place to spend a week.

For BLM Crossroads Campground: If you want a quiet campground on the river and don’t want to pay much, this is the place for you. We are visiting from Dec 22, 2018 to Jan 2, 2018. There are sites right on the river #10-19 (#10 is the furthest NE and has water access for other campers next to the site as well as Burro access for water. Most of the river sites are a view and not necessarily water accessible the best site for all access, view and quiet is #19 but book early this is everyone’s favorite site - mostly due to the most awesome sunsets). Summer will be noisy with lots of boats. There is a picnic table and grill at all sites and if you bring your own fire ring you may be able to have a fire, depending on fire season. The host right now are nice and helpful. No water, dump or restrooms at this campground, but there is one pit toilet. If you need to get water or dump it is available at the Sundance RV resort a little north of the campground. Water fill-up is $5 and to fill and dump is $15. We have not needed to get water yet as of this posting but it seems acceptable. The cost is $5 per day but if you have a National Parks Pass you can get your site for $2.50 per day plus a one time booking fee. We loved the quiet, sunsets, and roughing it in our 24” Winnebago View. I hope you enjoy it as much as we are during this holiday season. Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year! 2019!

Brooklycowgirl

For BLM Crossroads Campground: Great BLM campground. Large sites many on the water. Think oasis in the desert. Palm trees, willows and plenty of good hiking in the hills and canyons across the road. Wild burros roam the area. They are friendly and their babies are absolutely adorable but keep your food and trash secured. Dependence on human food is bad for donkeys.

For BLM Crossroads Campground: Love this place. Yes we snowbirds love the two weeks we are allowed to stay here. If you stay long enough, a river site will Open up. You can stay in any of the off river sites. There are 17 sites and a handicap one. Store and bar/restaurant are next door in RV park.

For BLM Crossroads Campground: Real nice place. If you could find a spot. The snow birds come in and stay a long time so good luck getting a space here. It was very difficult. Right on the river so its a premium spot.
