For Buzzard Roost Recreation Area: Nice spot. Quiet and laid back. Spots are back/pull in with full hook ups. Nice small camp fire ring / BBQ at each spot. You can walk down to the river, although there are no formal trails from the RV spots; although there are informal paths that allow you to get down there. No swimming in this river. There is a boat ramp at the end of the park that provides access to the river too. There is a really nice play structure for kids, and large lawn area. The gravel road around the park is very well maintained, and it's easy to drive in and out. The access road down to the park from the bluffs is steep and slow going, with a one lane road for the last 1/4 to 1/2 mile or so.

For Buzzard Roost Recreation Area: A nice and quiet place to camp for free. 5 back-in sites, a couple of which had plenty of room for our 56ft vehicle + trailer. Includes a loop at the end for easy turn-around. Paved the entire way. It’s hilly on the way in so be prepared for engine braking if you have a heavy rig.

For Buzzard Roost Recreation Area: Nice location nice veiws. only had porta potty for all sites. no trash bins. no water. just a good place for stop over. area clean
