The Novel RV

For Jeff Busby Campground - Natchez Trace Parkway: October 2021. Camper van. Nice overnight stay. Even had cell service. Some of the sites are very odd and unlevel with picnic tables down a hill. Many would also be too tight for big rigs.

VikingT

For Jeff Busby Campground - Natchez Trace Parkway: Great overnight spot. Very quiet location. Nice quick hike to the top of Little Mtn. So nice That I did it twice in a row. Only water is available from a spigot. Bathrooms closed. A really great spot to spend the afternoon and night. Very close off the Natchez Trace Pkwy. which, strangely, has no traffic. Check out the French Camp if you’re southbound.

CamperQueenie

For Jeff Busby Campground - Natchez Trace Parkway: Free NPS campground at about mile 190 on the Natchez Trace Pkwy. 18 sites. No reservations so get there early. Sites aren't numbered and it's kind if had to discern where they are, esp. in the fall when there's leaf cover. Many pull throughs and most are good sized. Serene, wooded setting. Pads are paved but many are starting to break up. It looks due for a repaving. We took the first site in with our 26 ft. travel trailer and it was level. No hookups but there are water fountains and a spigot at the bathroom. No showers. Be sure to go up Little Mountain for great views, esp. at sunrise or sunset. If you camp here one night and at the other free NPS campground, Meriwether Lewis, the second night, you can travel the wonderful Trace with no cost for lodging. What a deal!
