For Quemahoning Family Rec Area: As far as the general area, it is really nice. Lots of opportunities for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and hiking. But, the campground itself is not as nice. It is showing its age with getting kind of run down in area such as the restrooms and showers. Also, some of the RV sites are in need of some serious work. Some are full of ruts in the ground and are so unlovely that it is difficult to set up any rig other than a small trailer. The bottom line is that management/ownership needs to consider investing some time and money to bring the campground up to more acceptable level.
