For Hieb Memorial Park: Stayed here on Friday and Saturday, September 6th and 7th. Nice and quiet. It was raining so that probably kept ball fields empty. 4 sites at very back, two by ball field and two at front. There are two in the back that look permanent and the park should set a limit on number of days you can stay so people don’t abuse a nice camping area. There is water but some spots don’t have a splitter so only one camper could use if you don’t have your own splitter. Bar and malt shop are only thing in town. Ice cream was good at the malt shop. Cool little bowling alley but it’s only open in the winter. Pool was closed for the season.

For Hieb Memorial Park: Wow! Very cute park, lovely town and really nice people. The park is exceptionally clean, well maintained and cared for. We got a great spot under a tree with perfect shade and a sweet little pond behind us where we sat outside and watched a beaver doing his work. Surprisingly, very few mosquitos. Nice little malt shop within walking distance, and a neighborhood tavern where the locals are very friendly. We are full timers and this quite possibly is the nicest park we have ever been in. Had Verizon, occasionally needed the booster but had LTE, 2 bars data.

For Hieb Memorial Park: Couldn’t ask for anything more for free. Every need available, playground, city pool for cost, walking, hookups, dump, shade, and the opportunity to sit back and watch a local ball game. A very enjoyable stay and far above anything you will find at other Sioux Falls vicinity city/county parks.
