For Apalachee - Blakeley State Park: HUGE sites! We were on #10 and it had to be 3/4 acre of private, wooded camping. Sites 1-10 are all similar in size. FHU, Verizon good, TMobile ok to poor. Interesting history, great hiking, and close driving to Mobile. Rousse's Grocery a few miles away was great!! Site 10 was a bit uneven, but with some work we got the 40' MH level.

For Apalachee - Blakeley State Park: Nice campground. The sites are large and private. We were level at site #8. Showers about a mile down the road that are decent. No laundry or playground. Staff was super nice. Hiking trails are gorgeous and worth spending some time in.

For Apalachee - Blakeley State Park: We really enjoyed this park. It could use some repair on the roads, but they were working on it at the time. Huge pull thru sites that were a bit un-level because it is quite hilly in the park. There was a lot of space between sites, and big trees. Lots of hiking and biking trails, and some historical locations. Quiet and serene. Really enjoyed our stay.

For Apalachee - Blakeley State Park: Stayed Dec 26-28, 2018. Agree with other reviews, big foot levelers are on my wish list. Angled into site 7 kind of cockeyed and the power reached. I had to give it 5 stars because it just means so much to be able to stay here-my GGGrandfather fought here with the 2nd NY Veteran Cavalry...minor inconveniences for this opportunity. Was grateful to park employees who gave Georgie & Me a ride back after we went too far and got caught in the rain.

For Apalachee - Blakeley State Park: Stayed at Historic Blakeley State Park June 4-8, 2018
Stayed in a 27’ motorhome c Saturn Vue tow. On my way to New Mexico. Had site #5 for $30 a night c full hookups. Not level and front tires elevated. Required a portable step too. Sewer connection was elevated.
They had 1 & 3/4†rain prior to my arrival and campground road had several “wash outsâ€. But were repaired quickly. Very quiet with possibly numerous “live insâ€. Came here for the birding, quiet and biking. Very nice folks at checkin. 16 miles of bike paths and great history of Blakeley Civil War battle. Encountered some deer flies on bike paths( cutter deep woods worked). Some fire ants in camp site(it’s the South-beware)(Sevin dust fixed them). Great relaxed place

For Apalachee - Blakeley State Park: The park was very interesting. The staff was very helpful and friendly. When you enter the park the entry road only has room for one vehicle, so if someone in checking in you have to wait for them to check in before you can drive into the park. The pull through sites are very large. We could have had a couple of RV and their tow vehicles and a boat in our site and many other sites. Each site does have electric, water and sewer. The sewer pipe on our site was about a foot high so we had to raise our rig on blocks so our sewer could run downhill. Many of the pull through sites are on a slight hill so the rigs have to be raised a lot in the front. We put an extra step in front of our steps because the front was so raised. The left to right also took a lot of blocks. The road into the park started out paved, then some gravel and then some very rough gravel. Our site also had some very soft red sand/soil when we pulled in that collected on our tires and our steps and rug.
The park also has a civil war battlefield. It is interesting but could be better labeled and have a better map to go with it. The park did provide a map but it was missing some roads so it was not easy to follow at times. They also have a very nice nature pavilion but the building was much bigger than the parking area.
The part of the park I enjoyed the most was near the battlefield where they had some very old large and pretty trees. I did enjoy my experience but some improvement in roads and maps would be very helpful.
