For Main - Waubonsie State Park: Most sites are very unlevel and some are extremely unlevel. Not enough water pressure to get water to go through hose and filter to fill tank. It is only 20psi. If you have a gravity fill tank you will be ok otherwise it’s a problem. Fire pit full of trash. There are camp hosts here but not sure what they are responsible for. Sites are mostly weeds and gravel.

For Main - Waubonsie State Park: Impromptu stop on our family vacation. Needed a place for the night as we passed through the area and welcomed the electric site at only $16 on a hot, humid evening. Honor pay system was super convenient. Thank you DNR for a nice State Park with a cool overlook so we could capture some great sunset pics before we called it a night. Would recommend and stay here again if/when we are in the area. Driving a 30ft Class C RV, family of 4 with 90# Lab dog.

For Main - Waubonsie State Park: Great park, facilities, and nice trails. Crazy amount of tics EVERYWHERE but didn’t deter us from enjoying ourselves, will be back.

For Main - Waubonsie State Park: This is a real hidden gem. Although it isn't far from the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area, it is still a bit unknown. However, last year, it seemed to be filled more often than not. You approach the park by driving through miles of boring, flat plains. As you exit the interstate and head east, it is deceptively flat until you hit the Loess Hills and then you climb and climb up into a deeply forested area. There are rental cabins, RV sites and tent sites. Beautiful and sometimes steep hiking trails. Very well maintained
