For Painter Creek RV Park: OUR GROUP WOULD NOT STAY WITH PREVIOUS OWNER. PARK IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP NOW. THEY ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING. WE CALLED AHEAD NEEDING 12 RV SPOTS AND GOT EVERYTHING WE ASKED FOR. PARK IS WELL KEPT. FACILITIES ARE VERY CLEAN. OWNERS ARE MAKING IMPROVEMENTS EVERYDAY. GOOD FAMILY PLACE, NOT LOUD AND ROWDY. FRENCH LICK CASINO, PATOKA LAKE AND LOTS OF ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS ARE NEAR BY. TRY THEM OUT. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

For Painter Creek RV Park: Beware, these folks are very non forgiving and do not communicate very well. Had to cancel our reservation with 36 hour notice, owner indicated he had it rented. A month later we have a $37.00 charge on our credit card and after two phone calls were informed the other party was a no show (whether they were or not I will never know) so we were charged. Just BEWARE if you make reservations -- very predatory, in my opinion.
