For The Resort/Florida SKP Co-Op: First off you HAVE to be an Escapee member to get a spot here. It is a co-op so the vast majority of folks live here. We stayed for a week over Thanksgiving and we felt very welcomed; we even went to the turkey day potluck which was great! There is a real sense of community here. Be mindful that it is now a 55+ community and we as 30-somethings were caught quite off guard when we saw it on the sign as we pulled in as it's no where on their website/rules/policies. They told us it's no issue though, they just need to maintain a certain % of residents over the age to qualify as a 55+ community. Great pool, daily activities, and about an hour and a half drive to Tampa or an hour to Sarasota if you're looking for a beach day.

For The Resort/Florida SKP Co-Op: Beautiful park with lots of palm trees and spacious sites. This is a co-op park so each site is owned and they rent them out when owners are absent. They have 6 overflow spots with electric/water if no sites are open plus a boondock area. Must be an Escapees member to stay here. Reasonable rates. Bathroom/showers are nice and clean. Clubhouse, library, laundry, pool, shuffleboard, etc. Many activities.

For The Resort/Florida SKP Co-Op: Nice place for older people. Nice laundry. Mostly retired around here. Pool was great.
