For Wrangler Horse Camp - Natchez Trace State Park: This campground wasn’t what we imagined. Wrangler really means “wranglerâ€. It was pretty neat seeing Travel Trailers, that were designed for hauling horses. Many of our neighbors were very kind and friendly. The bathhouse was pretty clean and maintained daily. Every once in a while when the wind blew towards our camp, you could smell the manure from time to time. Not enough to fuss about. We went to both Cub Lake and Pin Oak lake. Do yourself a favor and skip Cub Lake. Refer to the park map and go to Shelter 1 at Pin Oak. Then follow the trail to the lake. It’s really clean and nice. Some people drove down the path and pulled off to park. Had I not had our rig attached I would’ve done the same. I give the Wrangler a solid 4 stars.
