For Grassy Banks - Big Bend Ranch State Park: Big Bend Ranch State Park consists of big, open, undeveloped land. Our campsite afforded some privacy and beautiful views of mountains. This is all primitive camping, with few options for large RVs. The campsites on the main park road are accessible and offer some really nice hikes. In order to explore the inner camp road, which has many more campsites with some privacy and also many beautiful trails, a four wheel drive and vehicles with high clearance are necessary. We camped in a 17’ travel trailer, and enjoyed a fire ring and covered table. There is very adequate trash collection. The Lajitas General Store is well stocked and very clean. Sit outside in the sunshine there and have a beer and catch up on your electronic communications. Presidio can be missed. Terilungua is lot’s of fun.
