For Sagebrush - Palo Duro Canyon State Park: Half of the park was closed so hunters could hunt. Didn’t get half off price tho.
Nice enough park at the sagebrush campground, had a really nosey or forgetful camp host that looks like he has lived here for years.
Absolutely no cell service for miles. Att,Verizon, sprint.
I got 1bar 4g on the 4th day.

For Sagebrush - Palo Duro Canyon State Park: Excellent park. Great facilities. Beautiful scenery. Steep entrance/exit to campgrounds but no problem for our 30 foot rig. No cell service. TIP: If you’re looking for free internet (I was anxious about the weather), you’ll find non-secure WiFi at the Mack Dick Group Pavilion near the Sagebrush campground.

For Sagebrush - Palo Duro Canyon State Park: Loved this canyon. We stayed in Sagebrush but didn’t spend much time at camp. We watched the “Texas†play the first night and thought it was an excellent show. Also ate BBQ they had catered in which was quite tasty. Got up early next morning and did lighthouse trail. It’s great trail, albeit really busy, and I recommend going past the end trail sign up to the lighthouse point. It’s so beautiful up there. Hiker and Biker paradise we wish we had longer to hike and bike the trails. Before we left we ate a burger at the little gift shop/restaurant and it was really good! This park is a treat.

For Sagebrush - Palo Duro Canyon State Park: Definitely one of the best state park campgrounds I have camped in. If you enjoy hiking you'll love Palo Duro. Facilities are excellent and the campsites all have great views. Will be back and highly recommend staying here and yes the drive both down into the canyon and out were a fun MotorHome experience.

For Sagebrush - Palo Duro Canyon State Park: Beautiful, steep drive down into the canyon. Slept surrounded by mountains and road runners. One even climbed the stairs to our RV and almost walked right in. This park is a must for hikers and bikers. Amenities were clean.

For Sagebrush - Palo Duro Canyon State Park: near the entrance to the park there is a late arrival parking area if you arrive past closing. we bookdocked there for the night. then we entered the park first thing in the morning for a day only adventure. noted that a good spot for motohomes is Mesquite camp inside the park . Excellent views all over the place. the Trading Post boasts a world famous hamburger. Jesse tried it and he says YEP and rang the bell. we recommend A full day and night here. we hiked for hours then ate a burger and then were on are way. good day!
