For Rabbit Gulch - Fred Hayes State Park: Stopped here on the way to CO with my little boys under age 8. After looking around for a while we found a spot away from the other people near the water. The sunset was nice but the wind was crazy. We were able to have a fire in a pit and play on the beach for a while before we ate dinner, roasted marshmallows, and went to bed. It was late by the time we snuggled down and the “neighbors†about 1/2 mile away played trashy music all night LOUD as can be. About 12:30am they finally went back to their campsite, proceeded with extremely foul language and rudeness to crank up the music and talk crap, drunk and staggering, about how we shouldn’t be here because they roped it off. We saw no rope and there was no indication that there was anyone obnoxious close. We NEVER would have stayed for that crap!! No sleep for me. Boys got some but then we’re awakened by the jerks next door. I won’t be back. No trees, open area, too loud, and trashy people taking over the whole entire campground. I will be complaining!!
