For South - Hunts Pond State Forest: Great campground. There were probably 15 sites. All provided privacy, were large, and were right on the little lake. It was very pet friendly. There were no trails, but the road meandered around the park and allowed nice 2+ mile walks. You could call the number on this website to get your required permit and have it emailed it to you. We were able to get cell service. We stayed during the week in mid September and were the only ones there.
