For Elkhorn Creek Recreation Area: Beautiful campground. Quiet setting with lots of trees. We were only ones there on a Mon in Sept. electric sites with water available. Flush toilets...2 dusty but smooth roads to get there from the interstate

For Elkhorn Creek Recreation Area: Nice grassy scenic sites near farmland. Sites have charcoal grills and picnic tables. Clean bathrooms. RV area has running water. The road to the tent area is a bit steep and uneven, but ok for cars. Area has lots of fireflies but more light pollution than I expected. The access road to the park was closed from 600 (8/16) I had to go around to 500.
