For Cody Park: Basic, level, easy to park site, no power or water. Restrooms looked a little sketchy, we did not use them.

For Cody Park: Ten dollars to boondock by the Platte River. It’s a very nice city park with small sites. Good for up to 25 feet or so. The park has a lot of nice features. In addition to being next to the river (which is very nice), they have large enclosures around a lake with buffalo, elk, deer, peacocks, donkeys, etc. A nice little ice cream stand that also sells burgers, etc. Lots of walking trails. Tennis courts, swimming pool. Just pull right in. I would not recommend the toilets, etc. The dump station is good. If you’re passing through western Nebraska, this is a great little stop.

For Cody Park: Lovely campsite on the edge of the Platte River. Cody park is fantastic for children....several large playgrounds, shuffleboard, horseshoes, tennis, and a small zoo including elk, deer, peacocks, etc. Town is very friendly and it’s a great place to stay while you explore. If you like ride horses, don’t forget to check out Dusty Trails about 7 minutes away.. we loved our stay there. $8 per night, self serve

Petunia
For Cody Park: This is an old fashioned tent campground. Each site has a little paved spot for your car then your tent goes on the grass. I was a small trailer, so I was able to squeeze in, but only a few places are long enough for a big RV. It was quiet at night, but it's on a busy road that comes to life at 5 am. Basically, this is a step above parking lot camping but only because it's a park on a river. You can take a walk in the morning. The bathroom is old and basic. No showers.
