For Brazoria County Free Beach: Undeveloped sea shore where you can park right on the beach for free. Here in early December, temps in 60s and 70s, and beach is nearly empty. I’m from Texas and read in a Texas group to enter at 3 or 4 so I did not go all the way West to entrance 1. I made an amateur mistake of trying to back my Airstream Interstate up in soft sand along the berm and got stuck. A very nice local pulled me out for free, but I did give him $100 (his wife and little kids were in his jeep with him).

For Brazoria County Free Beach: Here during the hottest time of the year. Nice breeze. Beach is cleanish. Some litter as usual. But the water was clean. Not too crowded. We were able to drive our motor home right onto the beach and dry camp. Would return again.
