For Pierce County Fairgrounds: What an absolute surprise of a wonderful campground. A free facility in a small rural town!! On a holiday weekend, we were the only ones there and had our choice of sites with electricity. The bathrooms were huge and the shower was better than ours at home. I didn't want to leave. If we come through the area in the future, we'll be staying there again

For Pierce County Fairgrounds: What an absolute gem!!!. The best kept secret of ND. This free small campground is fabulous. Well maintained, clean and quiet. We were the only ones here on the Friday of a holiday weekend. The bathrooms are spotless and showers are better than home. Loved it here and we'll be back.

For Pierce County Fairgrounds: Free - GEM of a place with plenty of room. Nice clean restrooms with a shower. MiFi signal very good. Beautiful golf course - 9 holes. Recommended.

For Pierce County Fairgrounds: Difficult to find in the dark. The power and water are turned off in September but the grounds are still available for camping and still free. There’s a sign up saying “primitive camping only”. Very quiet and peaceful and having this facility available to RVs is very much appreciated.

For Pierce County Fairgrounds: FREE! Electric & Water, too! Found a level spot and spent a restful night all by ourselves. Arrived late Saturday afternoon and the trains and the truck noise nearby were pretty heavy until about 9pm but quiet after that. No TV reception but great Verizon service. An obligatory stop at the Geographic Center of North America and B’fast at the Coffee Cottage Cafe!

For Pierce County Fairgrounds: After leaving the fairgrounds, we dumped for free when we filled up with diesel at the Cenex Station. Had a great breakfast at the Coffee Cottage Cafe.

For Pierce County Fairgrounds: The Fairgrounds are empty. No one to even give a donation to. Grass mowed, few shade trees, electric 30/50 amp and water hydrants, no dump. Could hear an occasional train a few blocks away, but otherwise very quiet. Free!
