For Cornerstone Retreat Center and Campground: We checked in and were assigned our spot. When I went to check it out there was a car,a cooler and a bunch of kids bikes all over the place. Back to the office. They rounded them up from the pool. We finally got settled and a few minutes later I noticed that they were getting ready to set a fire 3 feet from my very expensive coach. I kindly asked them if they could move the fire ring so as not to damage our coach. The guys said they would go to the other rv of their friends. A few minutes later the owner of the campground is banging on the door telling us to move over because they wanted to use the fire pit. In reality there was no way we could've gotten far enough away to be safe and sure no damage to our coach.
I suggested to the owner that they could move the fire ring so as to be safe. His response was"we don't move fire rings". Come on. Get real. We ended up disconnecting everything, pulling in our slides and moving over a couple of feet which I still do not think is a safe distance with the wind blowing. This is supposed to be a church camp. I found these people to be rude campers and the owner to be unyielding. They are not using the fire ring and have moved over to their friends. Hence we moved, have given them a ton of our site space for a one night stay.
I am all about campfires but they need to be safe.
I don't think I will use this campground again and would like to remind campers that they need to contain themselves in their own space responsibly.

For Cornerstone Retreat Center and Campground: Easy entrance, wide road tree lined with white fences. We were on site 77, not marked, but we figured it out. Loose gravel site, not well packed. Our coach sunk in a good bit. Site was barely long enough for our 40’ and back in. Toad was always hanging out. Fire rings and picnic tables on each site. Extremely clean and neat. No sewer on our site but dump station on exit. Very very nice people for sure. Passport America made the rate more bearable. Pool and playground were popular.

For Cornerstone Retreat Center and Campground: Excellent resort-type park (though we didn't begin to take advantage of all the amenities). We've met some nice operators but none nicer than these folks. (Also just about the cleanest, neatest park we've been in.) A bit pricey for what we got out of it (were looking only for one night with hookups), but looks like a lot of folks would really think it worthwhile.
