For Ocotillo Rec Area Dispersed: Only camper in the Ocotillo area. Beautiful location during the day. Once night fell I started a campfire which apparently drew negative attention. I was used as a target for shooter with a long range rifle - bullets flew by my head and missed me by feet. Doused fire pit and booked it out fast. Police and Forest Service notified. STAY AWAY if you value your safety.
