For Stampede - BLM: We were here Thanksgiving weekend. Beautiful spot 2 miles off the main road. Dirt road is well maintained. Very quiet area. Tons of trails in every direction. Campsites are spread out and not specifically designated. Few with picnic tables and grills. Lots of off road trails so this may be noisier in the spring/ summer. Nice views of the mountains and valley. Did I mention the stars??
