For River Cities RV Park: Same as the other reviews. Online registration works great. Very neat park with all concrete pads. Easy in and easy out. Agree too that 40 is a little step for no frills campground. But it is the best option in the area.

For River Cities RV Park: Great park for a stopover, neat and clean. We paid $40 for 1 night, a little steep considering there were no amenities like cable tv. I would stop here again. I like the online checkin and the convenience of easy in and easy out.

For River Cities RV Park: Very clean and neat, no frills campground. If you need to stay in the Alexandria, LA area, this is, by far, the best campground in the area. Relatively new and owners very interested in making improvements. All sites are pull thru with complete hookups and 50 amp service. All sites have concrete pads (which is really important for a wet location like Louisiana) and plenty of room for tow vehicle. Also a concrete patio on each site (although many of these are in an unusual location for motorhome as of this writing- owners beginning to rectify by expanding patios). All sites have a good size grassy area. Park laid out well and getting in and out is easy. No cable but our regular antenna picked up just fine. Internet worked great and was fast. The campground is not staffed fulltime as its entry is controlled electronically. They have the best online reservations system we have encountered. You pick out your actual site, pay, and then you get instructions and gate code via email. All fairly immediately. Their contact phone number is provided if you run into any problems. Hint: recommend the higher numbered sites along the left side of park as they have the bigger patios with better placement and recommend staying a week as your last 3 days are free. Cost was 163.50 for week.
