For Nelsons Landing RV Park: Been traveling upper Midwest 5 weeks. This is the nicest campground we’ve visited. Attractive, quiet*, privacy trees, clean restrooms/showers, fire pits, picnic table, level spaces, good WiFi (and Verizon LTE 4 bars), right near beautiful trees bluffs. Stayed two nights. No one bothered us. *The train tracks are a block away. We hear the train, which we sort of enjoy, but it’s just far away enough that it doesn’t wake us up. Oh: The RV park is next door to a beautiful city park with a playground and an open field. Good water pressure. Safe electric—we have a device that checks for all types of wiring problems. Lovely little cafe near park. Lots of old timey pubs. Nelson’s Cheese Factory is a must see: lots of cheap ice cream treats. 20 minutes to Laura Ingalls Wilder museum. Would definitely stay here again.
