Live Laugh RV

For Prairie Wind RV Park: Great little park for the night with pull-thru sites. We arrived on a Wednesday in mid-October around 3:30 and snagged the last site. Updated fee as of Oct. 2020 - $20.00 for full hookup.

Douglas Brown

For Prairie Wind RV Park: We did not stay here but drove through it and I can affirm the other comments regarding this park. There were three occupants none of which appeared to be long term stayers. The park was very well maintained.

Harry Robertson

For Prairie Wind RV Park: Best kept secret in the Midwest! Perfect place to lay over and wake up to see the Stauth Memorial Museum. Clean, well kept and perfectly maintained.

Villeneuve

For Prairie Wind RV Park: You will not find a campground of this quality many miles around at that price. Of course, this is not a place to stay many nights but it’s perfect for one night.

Extending our weeken

For Prairie Wind RV Park: 5 stars for what it is. Nice clean City Park with 5 long level gravel pull through sites. FHU with 30/50 amp. Dumpster on site and has 2 small storm shelters for emergency weather. Downtown a few blocks away within walking or biking distance. Not much there but does contain one restaurant, drugstore, hardware store and small grocery. There is a train track across the Hwy but never heard or saw a train. Maybe busy during harvest season? Large Silos also across Hwy which are a bit noisy but didn’t bother us and we had windows open.
