For Taylorsville Campground RV Park & Boat Storage:
I want to give this lovely campground a higher rating, but they have a few things to work on first. The new owners (Nov. 2019) seem very committed to making it a family-friendly, safe, fun place to stay. They have many plans and have started making improvements. They get high marks for that. My opinion: Great fishing pond. Wonderful place to walk. Large sites so you don’t feel crushed in. The camp feel is amazing. Downsides: It is a bit noisy - close to the highway. Some sites/turns/hills a challenge for large RV’s. Things to work on: Prices on their web page don’t match what they actually charge (reservation fee, taxes, holiday premium). Customer service – They don’t have a functional reservation system and twice said I didn’t pay for nights I had paid for. I produced copies of my checks with the dates covered written on them. The first time they conceded I had paid and the second time they got testy about it and said they were too busy to deal with it. Simple solution: give the customer a receipt at time of payment. Problem solved. And don’t get snippy when there is a misunderstanding. They are new at this business and I’m sure they will work out their reservation/payment system and also learn how important good customer service is to their reputation.

For Taylorsville Campground RV Park & Boat Storage: 06 July 2020 - We had a delightful week at Taylorsville RV Park. The new owners are doing a fantastic job with the place. The grounds are immaculate and the hosts (owners) are quite nice and helpful. We had a site that had 50 amp service and water. Some sites have sewer as well, but the full site is easy to use and was not crowded.
We used the campground as a base of operations to hit several Bourbon Tour locations. It is pretty much in the middle of most of the non-Louisville sites.
The camp site had enough room for our 37’ class A with out truck next to it. It also had a picnic table and fire ring. You will heed to have your leveling blocks with you, but you should already have those anyway.
We plan to return to this campground in the future. Added benefit - There is a very nice grocery about 5 miles from the campground.

For Taylorsville Campground RV Park & Boat Storage: I have camped here several times. The hospitality of the owner and his wife is second to none! My 2 most recent trips in the past month and a half were amazing. One being the first time I had pulled my travel trailer on my own. The owner accompanied us to our site and very patiently directed me in getting the trailer backed into place. He checked on us a couple of times to see that we got everything set up as needed. The grounds are kept immaculately and the park is quiet and relaxing. The owner checked on us at checkout and even assisted me in emptying the camper tanks. That’s beyond customer service. I can’t say enough about the hospitality and beauty of this campground! Thank you for making my maiden voyage such a wonderful trip!
There are several campgrounds close by; however, I chose to camp at this location again Labor Day weekend because of the great experiences there in the past. Yet again, the hospitality was second to none. Thank you again for making our memories so positive. I have camped in many campgrounds over the past 25 years and never had such amazing customer service and hospitality as I have at Taylorsville RV Campground! Will definitely return in the future! Happy Campers!

For Taylorsville Campground RV Park & Boat Storage: We arrived at this campground and felt very welcomed. We were guided to our site and the gentleman helped us get lined up and backed in. The view of the lake is awesome! Geese and deer walking around makes it a perfect, relaxing camping experience. Sites are level, gravel, with some paved roads. Road maintenance and mowing was immaculate. We have a 44 foot fifth wheel and it had no problems fitting into the site right down by the lake. We had full hook-ups so we didn’t use the restrooms or laundry. This campground is a hidden gem and we will be back!

For Taylorsville Campground RV Park & Boat Storage: This is a older campground, but the owners are renovating almost everything here. Very good fishing in their catch and release lake. I helped a fellow camper pull out a 7 pound cat fish! We will go back many times im sure, very peaceful!!!!
