For Whistle Stop RV Resort: Really nice new park. Level sites with cable and WiFi. Just passing through so only stayed one night. This one definitely goes on our list as an A+.

For Whistle Stop RV Resort: When I saw this RV park from the road I was skeptical about all the positive reviews. Don’t judge a book by its cover. This is by far the nicest campground we’ve ever stayed in. They’ve really got it all. The sites are level. Some have Adirondack chairs, some have a bench swing. We went into the clubhouse to watch a hockey game on the big tv, what a treat. The swimming pool looked very nice and not as small as most campground pools. There is a dog park with a place to give your dog a bath, that’s a first and such a thoughtful addition. The bathrooms are really nice. Everything is so clean. The laundry room was the nicest and cleanest we’ve ever seen. Corn hole, horse shoes, pickle ball, a golf driving net, just to name a few of the activities at the Whistle Stop. The employees are so nice too. We would definitely stay here if we’re ever back in Abilene again. What a jewel this campground is!

For Whistle Stop RV Resort: Beautiful park with huge sites. Lovely showers and close to Cracker Barrel!

For Whistle Stop RV Resort: Very large widely spaced sites in a new park. Everything is new, clean and well maintained. Gravel roads and sites which are fairly level. Cable was good, WIFI was finicky with problems during peak times. Some road noise from I-20. Very friendly and helpful staff. NOTE: roads have changed, road is one way into park. If the GPS in your truck is a few years old and you are coming from the east it will send you astray. Do not take exit 288. Use for phone GPS.

For Whistle Stop RV Resort: We stayed one night to our destination and one night traveling back home. Campground is clean and quiet other then some road noise. I also felt safe while staying there which grants the 5 star review on its own. Friendly staff with a nice little store. The site we had was really nice with concrete, grill, table and chairs and a wood swing. We will stay there again while traveling through Texas!

For Whistle Stop RV Resort: Really nice park. Easy checkin. Cable worked great. Big level spaces. Sparkling clean restroom and shower.

For Whistle Stop RV Resort: Great place to stay. Traveling from Florida to California and this is the best RV spot so far! Very accommodating with dog park, nice bathrooms w/showers, pool with horse shoes and many yard games, huge clubhouse, full hookups, large pull throughs. New and very well maintained property with sweet staff.

For Whistle Stop RV Resort: Very nice park. After driving I 20 and seeing all the roadside parks that were packed in tight. This place was new with long gravel pads and nice tables and room between sites. Newly planted trees. Great bathrooms with showers and 2 laundry rooms. The price was good too. I’d stay here again

For Whistle Stop RV Resort: Having seen a lot of other parks I have to say this is one of the best. Very clean, nice staff, nice little store for any last minute essentials. The bath houses are always pretty clean and the laundry works great for your money. The kids have made a lot of friends at the playground, the dogs love the dog park and the pool gets cleaned every day. We have lived here since December and we are about to leave which we are sad about.

For Whistle Stop RV Resort: Park was great, very clean bathhouse, laundry room, and clubhouse. My kids enjoyed the playground. The clubhouse is gorgeous. Our site was just slightly unlevel due to the gravel, but the pull through was extra long, we have really enjoyed our stay!
