For Montgomery County Fairgrounds: Park is okay for an overnight or if you have some need to actually be in Red Oak (as we did). It is very bare bones. No restrooms at all. Electrical hookups though some sites power didnt work, so test it first. No water or sewer hookups. There is a free dump station and potable water. DONT make the mistake of filling you tank with the water. It is horrible. We have a filter on our hose, a filter on our rig and another filter for our drinking water. Didnt help much. We ended up having to drink bottled while there; then at the next site, we had to dump all water, purge the pipes with vinegar and change all three filters.
There is a drop box for payment. No one came by at any time while we were there (4 days total). It was also very loud. We have dual pane windows and 3.5 inch walls with great insulation. It was still loud.
On the plus side, we did feel safe, the electrical we had was good, and most of the gravel sites were more or less level. We stayed four nights.
T-Mobile signal was good enough to stream video, but unbeknownst to us, it is roaming, so despite having unlimited video streaming we ran out of usable 4G data fairly quickly. Honestly, wouldnt stay again unless we absolutely had too.
