For Hardwood Impoundment - Stromberg Park: This is a gem hidden from the public. Beautiful campsites with 5 electric and 10 non. $20 - $10 with water, toilets and picnic tables everywhere. The caretaker does a great job and it has a beach area and also picnic area with really nice pavillion. Another plus is 1200 acres of Pike and bass fishing. There are monster Pike. We catch 28-37" Pike daily and bass run avg 16".
It is by far the nicest campground I've been to in my 60yrs.
