For Happy Trails RV Park: With the Passport America 50% off this was a great deal for overnight. As mentioned Larry is very accommodating and there are eight restaurants within walking distance. He made sure we had good evening snacks ad provided a BOGO for the TA Country Buffet. We will likely stop again, though it is not the most attractive, it was very convenient.

Hank

For Happy Trails RV Park: Larry the manager is very helpful and friendly. A pleasure to meet him. The park is mostly gravel with some grass in a kids play area. Restroom and showers are clean but older. Larry said he’s owned this park for 1 year and is making improvements so we will definitely stay here again when passing through.

For Happy Trails RV Park: All gravel and dirt. Backs up to a noisy trailer court. Staff was friendly. For the cost we were expecting something nicer. T

Kim and Joe

For Happy Trails RV Park: Larry, the campground manager, is the friendliest, funniest, nicest host we’ve had so far on our over 6 month full time journey! Very clean restrooms and showers. Nice laundry room. Reasonable rates plus free snacks, coffee and popcorn in the club house. The only thing we would suggest is they need a bigger sign by the road. We missed the turn and had to turn around. Served us well for a nightly stop over. Power did glitch off for a second early in the am hours, maybe a lot of people were using their heaters and water heaters as it was a cold night. We would stay here again.

Bob From rhode islan

For Happy Trails RV Park: They don’t pose as a resort as some do, this is an RV Park and that’s how they present it. The utilities are new the bathrooms are clean, the ladies room is exceptional the sites are very close together The manager goes out of his way to be helpful, and where would you find a manager that tells you he lives on site if you need anything. I gave this park five stars based on the manager, and close proximity to anything you may need.

For Happy Trails RV Park: Beware, this is the type of story nightmares are made of. Back in June we booked a 3 night stay with Carol at Happy trails RV park for the Albuquerque Ballon Festival. The day before our scheduled arrival my Mother which whom I had not seen in some time and one we are meeting at this campground on Friday called to see if they have space the day before since she was running ahead. Larry promptly informed her he had no space and that he has nothing for us that weekend, citing he has reservations but has no info on use so he couldn’t accommodate us. I promptly called about hearing the news and explained how we booked it back in June, got confirmation email from Carol that no longer works there. He couldn’t care less we booked, paid deposits for 2 sites, and had an email confirmation. He did say he could accommodate our 40’ class A DP, But the spot he has is real tight we questioned more his definition of “tight”. He goes on to tell us he has a 40’ 5th wheel and wouldn’t think of parking it there due to it being to tight, but we were more than welcome to!! He was extremely rude on the phone, and hung up on me, very professional. Would not give us the owners name because he is out of the country , stated he was only the manager, and told us good luck he has paying customers to attend to!?! What were we trying to be and he has our deposit.. we highly recommend you take your business elsewhere, we did to the Cuervo Mountain Rv park and horse hotel, Rick has been very accommodating and the park is brand new. We have no affiliation with either place and simply want to warn fellow travelers to be careful out there.
