For Soaring Hawk RV Resort: Nice owners, nice rv park, laundry services.
We had a shady spot, partially in the trees.

For Soaring Hawk RV Resort: Soaring Hawk RV Park, Plummer ID.
This is a new park. There are spaces for all sizes of RVs. You are up in the woods with great views. Very quiet at night. It’s all gravel, all of the time. But no dust. If you need a spot out in the open, they have it. If you want to be up in the trees, they got that too. The staff really cares if you are happy or not. We asked if we could change sites for better satellite reception. They had no problem at all with it. The location is couple of miles East of Plummer on Idaho 5. The Coeur d’ Alene Resort & Golf Course is 20 minutes north. The city of Coeur d’Alene is 40 minutes north.
They have WiFi, laundry facilities and 2 really clean holding tank washout stations at the park exit. They don’t have sewer hook ups. I don’t know if that’s going to be a phase 2 project for later or not. But it won’t keep us from coming back. And the entrance is a little tricky the first time through. I’m sure they will improve that also. We liked it.

For Soaring Hawk RV Resort: This is a brand new RV Park. This is the first season it is open. The reason for the four stars and not five is that there is no sewer connection at each site. There s a dump station and if you are here a week there is a pump out service. The spaces are gravel and nice and wide. There are 100 spaces with power and water. I suggested to the owners that their sign needs replacing as it is hard to see. There is WIFI and my cellular modem is working on ATT with two bars. The entry off of Hwy 5 was a little concerning but when you get to the park the road is great. This is the only RV Park I could find close to St. Maries where I plan to run the boat on the river. The owners are cordial and they stopped by to see if things were good. They are just about to finish the lodge building that the owners said had a fireplace. The owners are a young couple and I think the park will mature into a great destination.
