For Outback RV: Outback RV was better than we expected. First of all, if you are a mountain bike rider or if you ride dirt bikes or ATV’s then look no further. Just across the road are miles of trails free for the riding.
Outback RV is extremely clean. It is fully graveled so there is no dust or dirt that will get into your RV. The place is just a few years old , so the utilities are flawless. Strong water pressure, low sewer drains, and the power is solid. It’s not a resort, but it’s the best place to stay while you experience what the area has to offer. There are ramada’s with picnic tables and a horseshoe pit. Bill, the owner is very hospitable and knowledgeable about the region. Did I mention, you can’t beat the price? Oh yeah, Mesa Verde National Park is about 10 minutes down the road.

For Outback RV: We just left Outback RV Park. If there was an RV Park you could take with you, I'd take this one. Small, quiet, really clean, easy access to Canyons of the Ancients and Mesa Verde among other things. Only 4 miles from Cortez. Super nice owner.

For Outback RV: Outback Rv is located 1/4 mile from Phil's World Cash Canyon trail head. The owner is very attentive and takes great care of the campground. It is very clean with shade Ramadas, horseshoes and a group Ramada. We had tons of fun with our friends MTB, sharing meals and playing horseshoes.

For Outback RV: We have stayed at Outback twice with our RV and will return again in the fall. The new Phil's World trailhead is across the street which is great for us as we are mountain bikers and love to schedule our travel around the trails. Bill has made even more improvements since the last time we were here and the place is always super clean and feels new. Full service and easy to get in and out of with covered tables adjacent to some sites or for groups.

Ed Dombrosky
For Outback RV: Great RV park that is situated about 5 miles out of town on a nice and quiet back country road. So peaceful there! It is also conveniently located just 12 minutes from Mesa Verde National Park, 16 minutes from Canyons of the Ancients Museum and 9 minutes from the Walmart Supercenter in Cortez. The park has 8 sites with full hookups and the price per week or month is spot on. If you can, try to reserve site 1 as it has incredible views of Cortez, Ute Mountain and Mesa Verde. The owners, Bill & Judy were wonderful hosts. They checked in daily with us to make sure everything was just right and to see if we needed anything. We stayed for 2 weeks and will definitely be returning when we travel through the area again next year.

For Outback RV: Much closer to Cortez than Mancos. Wonderful setting with views of Mesa Verde and the valley. Nestled next to the BLM property - Phil’s World Cycling. Eight sites with full hookups and patio structures between sites. Easy drive into Cortez. Just a great place to stay. Went for a night and stayed for a week. Friendly owners on site.
