For Loves Travel Stop: Cheap gas. No overnight parking. Cashier informed me it is one hour parking and the department of homeland security would tow you.

For Loves Travel Stop: This place is a complete disaster. Way to small for its location. Very messy. Very tight parking. I highly suggest heading to the wiegh station to see if there is parking there first before trying to take on this place.

For Loves Travel Stop: VERY crowded with trucks because of the nearby port. Expect to wait.

For Loves Travel Stop: Fuel islands haven't been pressure-washed in years. You WILL get back into your rig with slippery feet. The parking area is a travesty. If you're lucky enough to find a spot, you WILL be parking in garbage. Out of necessity I've been forced on several occassions to frequent this location. This afternoon I saw what I though was a large o'possum. Then I realized ot was the wrong color; biggest rat i've ever seen. The fast food restaurants inside are very clean, and with good reason. Those same restaurants also have great service, just don't expect the same from the Love's employees. They are obviously under-staffed and over-worked, as well as under-trained and over-stressed. Also, the showers are severelly under par, from the water pressure to the cleanliness. Compared to the dozens of Love's locations I frequent, this one is dosconcertingly sub-par. To summerize, this Love's location is tolerable as a necessity if a quick stop is required, but it is most definitely a great place to leave.
